John was born in September 1986 and spent his childhood in Bristol before moving to Wales.
Born June 1990 in Nigeria, Kim moved to the UK when she was 3 and spent most of her childhood living in London.
In 2008, John moved to Somerset before settling in Bristol a couple of years later. He lived in Lawrence Hill for a time before purchasing his first home in St George.
Kim moved to Clifton in 2013 to work at Friends life. This was only meant to be a year contract but she loved Bristol so much she decided to stay a little longer.
John and Kim first met on Saturday, 18th July 2015, at the Bristol Harbourside Festival. Wasting no time, they had their first date the very next day - the 19th of July
During a trip to Lisbon with a group of friends back in 2015, John and Kim decided to make it "Facebook Official". They were now boyfriend and girlfriend!
This was also the start of Kim's small obsession with large glasses of Gin and Tonic.
John planned an unforgettable road trip through the south of France, filled with incredible food, stunning scenery, and a few surprises along the way.
John Proposed on the 28th June 2023 at Château de Pressac in Saint-Émilion. Fun fact! This was were the treaty of the 100 years war was signed there.
